Surprise Backyard Wedding

Like many, Kaitlyn and Jesse had to reevaluate how they wanted their wedding day to look due to the Covid-19 restrictions. I remember getting a call from Kaitlyn saying, “I know what we want to do!” and my stomach filled with butterflies. They were going to have a SURPRISE WEDDING! They told their closest humans that they were going to have a (socially distanced) BBQ to toast and celebrate what would have been their wedding day. Due to the number restrictions the couple set up a Zoom video call to toast those who could not make it to their “BBQ” . Little did everyone know, they would be witnessing these two tie the knot!

This was my first time documenting a Surprise Wedding and I’m so happy that Kaitlyn and Jesse put together a day not only memorable to them but to everyone that witnessed. I can’t wait for the party next year!
